WHAT?
Interested in learning how to knit? The Fibershed is offering a new 3-part Beginning Knitting Workshop. Part 1 focuses on basics and the 'knit' stitch. In this class you will learn how to cast on, bind off, and seam ends together. You will leave with a completed cowl. Part 2 also focuses on basics and the 'purl' stitch. You will also learn to attach a pompom as part of a hat that you will complete in class. Part 3 will put it all together and you'll make a classic cowl. It is recommended that beginners take all 3 sessions, but you can join any of the sessions based on your abilities.
