WHAT?
The Fibershed is a volunteer run, fiber and fiber-related community resource for crafters and artists. We have fabric of all types and sizes, yarn, notions, embellishments/trims, and so much more! We also offer creative re-purposing workshops. Open for shopping, inspiration and bringing the community together! Materials and other treasures may be purchased for cash or fiber credits. Fiber credits are issued for fiber donations; however, space is very limited so contact us to see if we are accepting donations and interested in considering what you may have to donate. Absolutely no drop-offs!
WHY?
The Fibershed encourages reuse and aims to keep quality fiber out of the landfill by offering inspiration and nominally priced items and workshops that are accessible to all.
WHEN?
Open hours are Wednesdays from 12:00pm - 4:00pm, Fridays from 10:00am - 12:00pm, and by appointment. Request an appointment by emailing us at: Fibershed@GrowBenzie.org or by leaving a message at 231 882-9510.
WHO?
The Fibershed is open to all and is a great place to hang out with like-minded individuals and community.
